Outside Speakers
	Our bioethics class relies heavily on the expertise and wisdom of professionals in our local community whose careers involve issues brought forth in class.  Recent speakers include a nephrologist, who spoke about issues related to organ donation, a member of Amnion, and a member of Planned Parenthood, providing a balanced view of reproductive issues. Another guest speaker recently went through gender reassignment surgery. Dr. Michael Kamarck and Dr. Paul Offit spent the day with the Science Department, enlightening students about the work they do.  In recent years, Dr. Michael Kamarck has spoken to our classes about drug development in the pharmaceutical industry.  Dr. Paul Offit spent time with our students and informed them about the process of making a vaccine. Attorneys from Pepper Hamilton discuss the case of Kitzmiller v Dover (Pa) Board of Education regarding "Intelligent Design" in the classroom.
