Lower School Learns the Art of Vermicomposting

Third graders are a part of something big at Agnes Irwin - vermicomposting. Without any trepidation, Cassie Woestman’s science class plunged, hands-deep, into worm-filled cans as the Upper School Ecology Club guided them through the steps of worm composting.

French teacher Rita Davis has the distinction of being part of the first wave of educators who have received College Board approval for a redesigned Advancement Placement syllabus that incorporates new research-based requirements under the Board’s sweeping revision of its AP curricular program.

Mackenzie Murphy '11 will travel to UVA March 23-27 to compete as a Jefferson Scholar finalist and AIS divers break records at Eastern Interscholastic Swimming and Diving Championships. 
Agnes Irwin and Haverford Join Forces to Fight Hunger

The Service Boards at Agnes Irwin and Haverford are sponsoring an Empty Bowls Supper on Sunday, February 27 at 5:00 p.m. in Agnes Irwin’s Laura Thomas Buck ’49 Pavilion. Proceeds go to local hunger organizations in the Philadelphia area.
