Book Fair 2011 was a huge success at the Lower School and in the new satellite location between the Middle and Upper Schools. Thank you Ashley Smith for stepping up and doing such an amazing job!
Students, faculty and parents alike enjoyed perusing the fine selection of books provided by Allbooks. The kick-off spaghetti dinner on Sunday night was a warm welcome to the exciting week of events. Thank you to all of the fifth and sixth grade families who so generously supported this event! A special hug goes out to Sara Glaser and Sharyn Chernitsky, who spearheaded this terrific night. Many volunteers helped to set up and prepare the Laura Thomas Buck '49 Pavillion for this event and without them it would not have been possible.
Latoya Monroe worked tirelessly as treasurer, while Amy Briddell provided donuts and coffee each morning for "Donuts with Dad." Last but not least, thank you to Jennifer Larsen who, as a first time parent at AIS, took on the role as schedule coordinator! We are grateful to have had such a dedicated group of people helping us, and we hope that everyone enjoyed the fair... Stay tuned for next year!
