October 14, 2011 Volume I, Issue 5   Home Rowing News I am pleased to announce that Jackie Davison is the new varsity crew coach for Agnes Irwin. After graduating from Boston College where she was a varsity rower, Jackie coached at Colgate University and Temple University. Coach Davison has also coached at the Thompson Boat Center in Washington D.C. and at the PA Rowing Camps. Jackie grew up in the area rowing for Conestoga High School, so she is very familiar with Boathouse Row. I am very excited to have Jackie leading our program. Look for information soon regarding a meeting for parents and student-athletes to get to know the coaching staff and learn about the spring program. All seemed to enjoy the show as well as hearing from former Mighty Macs Coach Cathy Rush. Basic skills and fundamentals will be taught throughout the weeks.
