ParentTalk - A Chance to Heal Workshop
Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 7 - 9 p.m. in West Wike Theater
ParentTalk, developed by A Chance to Heal Foundation (ACTH), is an informal, conversational workshop that addresses the challenges associated with raising children in a society obsessed with unattainable beauty and the "thin ideal." Parents will come away with a better understanding of the factors influencing their children's self-esteem, and begin to know how to combat harmful messages and behaviors. The evening will be moderated by Carol Gantman, PhD and Karin Evans, MA, RD, LDN.

To RSVP for ParentTalk on November 2nd, please contact Kim Beamon, Director of Support Services, at kbeamon@agnesirwin.org or 610-526-1665.
