Parents' Council Events In The New Year Coming Up In 2012   Home Free Family Skating Event Saturday, January 14 Parents’ Council is thrilled to sponsor a free evening of skating for the Agnes Irwin Community on January 14 from 8-10 p.m. at the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society at 220 Holland Avenue in Ardmore, PA. Space is limited!   Visiting Author for One Book Agnes Irwin Wednesday, January 18 Meet our featured speaker for the first-ever One Book Agnes Irwin highlight event. Join us on January 18 at 7 p.m. in the West-Wike Theatre for an evening with Firoozeh Dumas, author of national bestseller Funny in Farsi. She will present to the entire community and share her personal stories about growing up as an Iranian in America. Click here for more information on the program.   Mother/Daughter Outing Saturday, January 21 Moms and daughters, come and mingle at Homecooked at 1 Paoli Plaza in Paoli, PA on January 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join us in assembling meals that you preselect to be cooked and enjoyed at home. Wednesday, February 15: Lower School This event is a great opportunity to show your appreciation for your daughter’s teachers as well as to get to know other parents in the Lower School. Volunteers are needed for a variety of assignments, including preparing food, serving teachers, setting-up and breaking-down, and substituting in classrooms for the lunch/recess periods.
