Three AIS swimmers – Julia McDowell, Caroline Richardson and Cici Lozano-Torres – turned in impressive performances in their first meet ever. Both Sara Wada and Emma Lewis swam season best times for 50-yard freestyle. Swimming the final leg of the 100-yard free relay, Anisha Mittal had the crowd on its feet when she came from behind but did not quite overtake her Baldwin opponent. The AIS swimmers are looking forward to the next meet against Germantown Academy.
