AIS Libraries
The Library Department maintains three divisional libraries for use by the entire Agnes Irwin community. All three libraries, located in the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, possess unique qualities that reflect the spirit and character of the division they serve. Each library provides attractive, comfortable facilities for individual and group study.

In addition to more than 25,000 print volumes, students have electronic access to full text newspapers, magazines, journals, television and radio transcripts, and Internet resources. Agnes Irwin libraries are members of the PREP consortium and of AccessPA, a statewide union catalog that combines the resources of over 2,000 school, public, academic, and special libraries.

Library Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop students who are independent and effective users of information. These information management skills are integral to academic achievement, to responsible participation in a democratic society and to lifelong learning. The libraries will supply access to thoughtfully selected materials in a variety of formats, provide instruction in their use, and promote appreciation of reading with the collaboration of other educators.

Hours:
The Agnes Irwin libraries are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
