This web page has been created especially for you and will provide information for parents and students. The School Store will be open sporadically throughout the summer. Please visit their website to see dates and hours. It will reopen for the 2017-2018 school year on August 15, 2017. Students and families will need to purchase books for the school year. You can find a link to the online bookstore to do so here.
Purchase gently used uniform items at our RenAISsance Store, located at 672 Conestoga. Please contact admission at 610.526.1667 and we will work to set up a private visit to the store for you.
Preseason for Fall Athletes
Preseason usually begins two weeks before the start of the school year. We anticipate preseason for athletes in grades 9-12 participating in Volleyball, Field Hockey, Soccer, Tennis and Cross Country to begin this fall on August 21, 2017.
New Parent Welcome Reception
Please join us on Thursday, September 7 at 6:00 p.m. for our New Parent Welcome Reception, hosted at 672 Conestoga.
Students entering all divisions are expected to complete summer work. For more information about your daughter's Summer Assignments, please visit the website here.
All forms listed below are posted on AIS ON and need to be received by AIS no later than August 1. Please send via email (Jeannine Kelly RN BSN at email@example.com for Middle/Upper School or Lorraine Lampe RN at firstname.lastname@example.org for Lower School); fax (610-527-8129); or mail (The Agnes Irwin School, 275 S. Ithan Ave., Rosemont, PA 19010, Attention: Health Center). Parents, please keep a copy of all documents.
A current physical examination form is required for all new students. Please note, the physician-signed physical examination form is required on a rolling basis. For example, if a student has a wellness checkup in March, then an updated physical form would be due the following March. If you have forwarded the physical on a rolling basis and are confident that it is on file, you do not need to forward an additional copy.
The following medical conditions: anaphylaxis, seizures, asthma, and diabetes, require action plans/care plans to be completed by your child's physician and kept on file with the school nurses. These forms must be renewed annually and on file in the Health Center prior to the start of the school year.
A current dental form is required for all new students.
Medication Administration Form
- All students who need to take prescription medication or over-the-counter medication other than Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, and Tums during the school day must have a Medication Administration Form signed by the physician and parent/guardian on file with the Health Center. Emergency medications including insulin, rescue inhalers, and EPI Pens, can be carried and self-administered by Middle and Upper School students only with a Medication Administration Form on file and applicable Action Plan.
Tylenol, Tums, Ibuprofen, and Benadryl are the only medications that the school nurse may administer to your child during the school day on an as needed basis, but parents/guardians must list the medication of preference in the "medical" section in AIS ON.
