The Agnes Irwin School is located 10 miles west of Philadelphia in a suburban community easily accessible to public transportation. Our campus is near Villanova University and just minutes from train stops at the university and nearby Haverford College.
The Agnes Irwin School is pleased to announce a private van service which will be available for current and entering AIS families who live in Center City beginning in September of 2018. A fee will be charged and the private service will be organized based on ridership (minimum 5 riders) so locations will be determined at a later date based on subscribers. Pick-up and drop-off times will be coordinated with our school schedule. A deposit of $500 will be required for this service no later than March 1st which is payable directly to the private van service company.
Currently enrolled families may contact Amelia Fogarino at the van service company number which is 215.480.0800 for more information on the service being offered in September.
Families who are considering Agnes Irwin for the first time should contact the Office of Admission at 610.526.1667 in order to begin the application process, as this service is only available after enrollment.
Free shuttle transportation is available to and from the Villanova stations for two SEPTA Regional Rail Lines: Paoli/Thorndale Line station, located 1.5 miles from the school, and the Norristown High Speed Line station, just one-half mile from the school. A schedule of daily pickup and return times is published at the start of the year and is available at the main lobby reception desk. If planning to use public transit to visit AIS, please call ahead to request help with transportation from these stations: 610.526.1667.
