Exciting, active, memorable learning experiences for girls ages 3-6
The Agnes Irwin School invites girls ages 3-6 to experience our Lower School first hand through our Little Owls series -- fun-filled, hands-on events designed to engage young minds and ignite curiosity. Led by Lower School faculty, these one-hour sessions also offer parents a glimpse of our curriculum and an informal opportunity to learn more about Agnes Irwin’s learning environment. Let’s Do This - Saturday, November 18, 10 - 11 am
Spark your daughter’s imagination in our iWonder Lab, where girls collaborate with peers to creatively problem solve. Girls will explore coding, and participate in tinkering and engineering activities that stimulate their ingenuity.
Hola Español! - Saturday, December 9, 10 - 11 am
Join our Spanish teachers for diversión con el español, which means fun with Spanish! Girls are introduced to the Spanish language through lively discussion, song and games, while broadening their understanding of the world around them.
Why, you ask? - Saturday, February, 24, 10 - 11 am
Little minds constantly wonder. During this inquiry-based science session, girls are led to discover the answers to some common kid questions while performing hands-on experiments in our Lower School Science Lab.
Twist, Shout and Roll All About! - Saturday, March 10, 1- 2 pm
When our music and phys ed teachers join together, girls delight in an entertaining and energetic morning full of joyful music and gymnastic movement. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and be ready to roll!
Every Child is an Artist - Saturday, April 28, 10 - 11 am
Inspire your child’s inner Picasso! Our Lower School art room provides the freedom to create in a space designed specifically for our youngest artists. Using a variety of media, girls may get messy as they create a literary-inspired masterpiece they will take home.
