How to Apply
We are committed to having an economically, ethnically, racially and religiously diverse student body. Admission decisions are made by the Admission Committee based on the applicant's strengths, on her potential to thrive at Agnes Irwin and on her capacity to contribute to the school community. Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Grades 5, 6 and 9 are the main entry points for the school; however, 25% of new students enter in other grades.
Although our first deadline for applications, December 12, 2016, has passed, we will continue to welcome applications and visits at all grade levels. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and the outcome will depend on the candidate's qualifications as well as the availability of space at each grade level.
Agnes Irwin is committed to making its educational opportunities available to bright, motivated and talented girls regardless of their family's ability to pay. Applicants seeking tuition assistance must indicate their intention of applying for tuition assistance on the admission application. The New Family Guide to Tuition Assistance packet is usually sent in late November. Please note that the deadline for consideration for the 2017-18 school year, December 17, 2016, has passed. Anyone applying after this date will be considered after applicants who met this first set of deadlines, as this deadline and the availability of funds are not as flexible.
