The physical and social-emotional well-being of girls remains a primary concern for Center. Research becomes most meaningful when it marshals us into action. When we connected with the Challenge Success Foundation, an initiative out of Stanford University to survey our students in grades 7-12, we discovered how well our girls are thriving. Most importantly, however, we expanded our conversation on how we define success for our girls – and indeed, all girls. Our continued work includes our parent community and will shape an intentional path toward achieving the balance between academic rigor, intellectual grit and physical and emotional self-care that our girls so richly deserve.
