Uniform Dress Code

Pride and tradition

AIS shop buttonOur school uniforms represent school pride and tradition, uniting the student body through dress, increasing school spirit and ensuring appropriate attire for the academic day.

Students in Lower and Middle School are required to be in uniform Monday through Friday. In Lower School, students wear tunics. In Middle School, students "graduate" to wearing polo shirts and kilts.

In Upper School, students wear uniforms Monday through Thursday. On Friday, students are not required to be in uniform, but must follow the Friday Dress Code. Friday Dress is professional casual. Sometime during the second half of the year, seniors may earn the privilege of wearing Friday Dress every day.

For the full uniform guidelines, including Friday Dress Code and gym attire (for Lower and Middle School), please check the complete Uniform and Dress Code.
