Named Scholarship Awards
As part of the overall financial aid program, there are three special scholarship awards for new students who demonstrate financial need. When applying for these awards, the family must demonstrate financial need by submitting the Parents Financial Statement and their most recent tax returns. Applicants should submit an ISEE or SSAT test score by November 15.

The AIS Scholar Award:
Applicants for 7th-9th grades who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply for our
scholarship. Finalists will be chosen from the highest scores on the test. Test scores must be received at Agnes Irwin by November 15th and candidates must submit a scholarship application. They must have a B or better average, two letters of recommendation and an interview with the Division Director and Admission Director. Finalists are chosen in December and the winner is notified by January 15. The winner is awarded a $500 annual stipend towards textbooks as well as the full amount (up to 100%) of financial aid for tuition as reported by the Student and School Service for Financial Aid in Princeton, NJ. The Class of 1955 Scholarship:
In honor of their 50th reunion, The Class of 1955 established a scholarship to be awarded to a 9th grade applicant who qualifies for financial aid. The Class of 1955 Scholarship affirms their recognition of “the wonderful opportunity we were given to attend Agnes Irwin” and their desire to provide that same opportunity to qualified girls in the years ahead. The Class of 1955 Scholarship will be awarded to an applicant whose talents, enthusiasm and leadership will enrich the School. This scholarship will be renewed annually through her senior year. As this scholarship is available once every four years it will next be available for the 2013/2014 school year. 

The Carter Mannion ‘81 Student-Athlete Scholarship:
The Carter A. Mannion ’81 Athletic Scholarship is available annually to an incoming Upper School (9-12) applicant who demonstrates financial need and who is proficient in two sports or demonstrates outstanding competitive experience in one and who will participate in at least two athletic seasons each year. She must also demonstrate academic ability and provide two letters of recommendations from teachers and coaches. The Scholarship is renewable each year and the recipient will receive a $500 annual stipend to be used to improve or develop her athletic skills as well as the full amount (up to 100%) of financial aid for tuition as reported by The School and Student Financial Aid in Princeton, NJ. For more information about this opportunity, please email Sheila Pauley, Director of Athletics, or Sally Keidel, Director of Admission and Financial Aid.
