A Roaring 20s RaisE Brings Community Together

On April 22, RaisE was back in person at 672 Conestoga and a roaring success!

Thank you to all Agnes Irwin parents and friends who attended RaisE 2022 and took a trip back to the Roaring 20s with us. Many guests donned flapper dresses or fedoras and enjoyed a night of casino-style table games, as well as food stations catered by Powers Events Catering and music by the one and only DJ Howard.

This year, RaisE raised more than $160,000, in large part to sponsorships donated by more than 70 families! The event, Parents’ Council’s largest fundraiser of the year, featured a spirited live auction conducted by emcee David deForest Keys P '28 who did a fantastic job of selling one-of-a-kind auction items including an all grade in-school sleepover (congratulations Class of 2030!), a party in the Laura Buck ‘49 Pavilion featuring DJ Howard, a dinner party for eight catered by Powers Events, a Philly sports package that included tickets to the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers and more, and a trip to Oregon’s wine country.

A paddle raise raised more than $50,000 to support professional development for our teachers and faculty and for upgrades to innovative learning spaces for our girls. This direct investment into our daughters’ classrooms will help Agnes Irwin continue to provide an exceptional education in an ever-changing educational landscape.

Thank you again to all the RaisE 2022 sponsors and attendees. Many thanks to the event co-chairs Megan Boss P ’26, ’32, Sheridan Doherty P ’25, and Ann Thorkelson P ’32 for putting on such a beautiful and fun fundraiser for our community.
