On April 24, families, faculty and students gathered in the Moran Gallery to take in stunning photography, eclectic mixed media designs and printmaking, intricate ceramic and textile creations, and engrossing performances — all created by Agnes Irwin seniors.

Held each spring, Agnes Irwin’s Senior Arts Showcase is the culminating exhibition for graduating arts students. Students present visual or performing arts pieces from their portfolios, discuss their inspiration and creative process, and detail how their work developed during Upper School. This year, 15 seniors shared their artistic journeys at the capstone event.

For Anna Cayley, learning the fundamentals of photography led to discovering a passion for monochromatic images and portraits. “I began to fall in love with black and white photography and the vintage feel of them,” she noted, adding that she enjoys “being able to capture moments and, most of all, people.” Nia McCune — who delved into design, typography, and even woodcut printing during Upper School — remarked that “I have always connected to art through[out] my career in Agnes Irwin, especially in graphic design.”
