Waring Fleitas is Main Line Student of the Week

Senior Waring Fleitas is passionate about many things, including nutrition and medicine, environmental sustainability, and community service. Waring is a member of the school's ECO (Environmental) Board, the Sustainable Living Club, World Affairs Council, and contributes to the school newspaper, The Wick. She serves as a Head Tour Guide at AIS, and was a PAL mentor to an Agnes Irwin 6th grader.

In addition, Waring participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Student of the Year" contest last spring, where she and peers raised more than $68,000 in six weeks to benefit medical research — an effort that earned her the AIS Bradford Fogarty Award for community service. Learn more about Waring in this week's Main Line Times' Student of the Week interview!
