Upcoming Virtual All-School Events
The Importance of Being Earnest During a Pandemic
April 30 at 7:30 p.m.
Join us on April 30 for this clever spoof on Oscar Wilde's original play, The Importance of Being Earnest. The virtual play follows the adventures of Jack and Algernon as they vie for the hands of their beloveds, and encounter not only the strictures of polite society but also the obstacles of social distancing. Dinner invitations become challenging if small talk must be shouted from six feet away, and false identities especially difficult to manage when one must remember to change one's display name on video chat!
Nineteen cast members, 27 students on stage crew, and 41 set designers put on a virtual performance of Help Desk, a vignette play consisting of 10 witty and playful scenes all designed around the highs and many lows of calling in to customer service centers. Sound familiar?
Summer at AIS is back! We are excited to gather once again in-person on campus! We are pleased to be able to offer both virtual academic enrichment opportunities, as well as in-person Summer Adventure Camp, Small Adventures Camp, and our new athletic camps and certification programs.
Please visit our Summer at AIS page to learn more about our summer program!
Our innovative and rigorous curriculum — powered by girl-centered research and student-centered learning — allows your daughter to discover her passions along the way.
While the School Store is closed for in person shopping, the store’s website is up and running for all of your Agnes Irwin uniform purchases and spirit gear needs! You can shop online by visiting the store website!
The RenAISsance Store features gently used uniform pieces for a comfortable, already broken-in fit! Run by our Parents’ Council, currently the store is not open for shopping. We will update shopping opportunities as they become available later this spring!
Bridge Program for 9th Grade
Join enrolled students from The Agnes Irwin School and our brother school, The Haverford School, as we come together to make friends and prepare for the excitement of Upper School! Bridge provides a relaxed program for all members of the Class of 2025, introducing students to one another and to Upper School life through a variety of fun-filled activities. There are neither tests nor homework, and there is no cost to participate.
The Bridge Program will run August 16-19. Please keep an eye on this space and your email for more information about this exciting, meaningful program!
