Our Philosophy

We are committed to having an economically, ethnically, racially, and religiously diverse student body. Admission decisions are made by the Admission Committee based on the applicant's strengths, on her potential to thrive at Agnes Irwin, and on her capacity to contribute to the school community.

Timeline

We are so pleased that you are considering making an application to Agnes Irwin. We welcome applications at any time during the year on a rolling basis. If you are interested in applying for admission, please call our office at 610-801-1202 so we can help you get the process started!

Decisions and Notification

All applications that are complete by the first admission deadline, December 2, 2022, will receive notification on their admission decision prior to Agnes Irwin's Winter Break. Starting in January 2023 the Admission Committee will consider applications as they become complete, and decisions will be shared within two weeks of receipt of a completed application file.

Tuition Assistance Deadline

Families who are interested in applying for Tuition Assistance are highly encouraged to complete their applications by the first Tuition Assistance deadline which is December 9, 2022.  Families who apply after early December should complete their tuition assistance application as soon as possible as funding will begin to be released to newly accepted families who have met the first deadline and have completed all aspects of the application process in mid-January.

PreKindergarten, Kindergarten and Grades 5, 6, and 9 are the most common entry times for the school; however, 25% of new students enter in other grades.
