Students brought music, movement, and beauty to the stage for Dance Motion 2019!

Students in both Photography II dropped fruit into water for a Fast Shutter Speed Motion Project. Each image was achieved using a fast shutter speed to capture the fruit as it was dropped into the vase while illuminated from the left, right, and top. Students mounted the camera on a tripod and set the focus manually, before snapping the images they later edited to increase the contrast and eliminate dust and smudges that appeared in the dark areas. 

In the Media Arts II class, students explored what it would be like to work as a freelance graphic designer and create a poster for a "client" working at AIS. Each students selected a teacher or staff member to go through the process a graphic designer would go through creating a product for their client that effectively communicated the message of the project at hand through type, symbols, color, and imagery.

Upper schoolers, alongside a few Haverford School students, gave male-dominated workplaces from the 1970's a makeover in our production.

More than 60 upper schoolers, alongside three Haverford School students, rocked Harvard Law when they took the stage for our production.

This modern play is based on the play by Chris Wind, but rewritten and adapted by director and theatre teacher Karen Stait and several students from the Production Direction team.
