All-School Founder’s Day Festival: 150 Years of Community

Friday, September 20, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m
The first official event celebrating Agnes Irwin’s sesquicentennial including a family dinner, a 150th-themed scavenger hunt, newly unveiled exhibits, a live DJ, and a special performance of Agnes Irwin: The Musical by the Classes of 2027 and 2028.​​​

Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 9 a.m. to  2 p.m.
Start the day off with a family-friendly yoga session before cheering on our Varsity Tennis and Varsity Soccer teams as they compete against Baldwin! Limited edition 150th Anniversary merchandise will also be available for sale throughout the day. ​​



Founder’s Day Convocation: 150 Years of Empowering Girls and Inspiring Women

A historic ceremony 150 years to the day that Miss Agnes Irwin first opened the doors of her school. With student performances, a keynote address by Ann V. Klotz ’78, and the unveiling of our 150th Anniversary book, we will celebrate Founder’s Day, Miss Irwin’s esteemed legacy, and the legacy of thousands of Agnes Irwin girls who have shaped the world in their own ways.​​​

The Center for the Advancement of Girls Presents: Discovering Your Purpose

Open to students in grades 7-12, all parents, all faculty and staff

Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Explore the powerful and beneficial role that a sense of purpose can play in our lives. The conference will offer two tracks: one for students in grades 7-12, and one for parents. Our closing keynote address will be delivered by Patrice Banks, a local engineer-turned-mechanic who founded the nationally-recognized Girls Auto Clinic, which educates and empowers women through its female-focused car repair shop and resources.​​

Making “Her-story”: A Conversation With Trailblazing Women

Friday, May 1, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m.
An intimate and compelling conversation between two trailblazing women who followed their passions and changed our world in the process. The special guests headlining this event will be announced in late 2019!​​



Celebrate the Decades: The Party of the Sesquicentenary!

Open to all 21+

Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Enjoy the final event of our sesquicentennial with dinner, drinks, and dancing, and tour a special walkthrough exhibition of Agnes Irwin through the years. All-inclusive tickets are $50 per person and will be available for purchase in January 2020.
