Six Upper School art students are featured in the Wayne Art Center show TEENworks. The exhibit, which includes drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and photography, is on display through April 23.
A wire horse sculpture submitted by Caroline Richardson '17 is featured in the show. Five AP Photography students, Maya Brown-Hunt '17, Kathryn Hall '17, Camaryn Walsh '17, Sydney Gray '16 and Annie McConnon '17, also have work featured.
Photography teacher Sarah Rafferty said that the art department often encourages students to submit their work outside of school in the wider community. "It takes extra time, but it is totally worth it in the end," she said. "Especially when students are recognized for their awesome work!"
