Just outside awaits the opportunity for adventure and discovery!   Our campers will kick off their summer exploring the great outdoors with activities planned to help them learn about our environment, enjoy the pleasures of nature, and discover the natural beauty that surrounds us in our own community and beyond. Field Trip to Sauders Woods Preserve.

Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28

Our campers are off on a mission of discovery about the planet they call home!  This week will feature activities that allow our campers to better understand Earth’s unique position in the greater universe, learn about Earth’s plants, animals, seasons, weather, land formations and more; explore the amazing diversity of our planet, and encourage the importance of taking care of our friend, Earth. Campers enjoy a staycation featuring The Earth Dome from Mobile Ed Products.

Monday, July 1 – Wednesday, July 3
Note: There is no camp Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5

Celebrating all that makes our campers magically, uniquely them.  This week will honor all that is remarkable about just being who we are. Through a broad range of activities, campers will be able to cultivate their creativity and imagination, create space for (some) daily calm, and boost their self-esteem and self-expression, all while making mindfulness fun!  Campers will enjoy special programming from our friends at Flow & Grow Yoga and a field trip to Devon Lanes!

Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12

Cultivating wonder and awe in our campers through discoveries both big and small! Through age-appropriate STEM activities, campers will have the opportunity to explore their curiosities, ignite their imaginations and find the answers to some of their many “I Wonder…”s.  The week's offerings include a field trip to Bryn Mawr Film Institute and a STEAM Museum staycation from Mobile Ed Products.

Monday, July 15 – Friday, July 19

Summer, of course, means sun and fun--- and beaches and oceans! Campers will learn to explore, love, and respect our natural world, especially our oceans. In addition to exploring the sea and aquatic life, campers will have fun learning about other natural habitats and all the fascinating creatures that call those places home.

Monday July 22 – Friday, July 26

Fall in love with the extraordinary sounds of the season!  From the buzzing of bees to the breaking of waves; the chirping of crickets to the rumble of thunderstorms; the pop of fireworks to the crackle of campfires, we will have fun uncovering the music, the rhythm, and the sounds that inspire that summery feeling in us all!  Weekly field trip is planned to the Franklin Institute.

Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2

"Summer is birds singing.  Summer is bare feet and daisies and dandelions, and roses full on their stems. Summer is porches and cold lemonade and dogs sleeping in the shade. Summer is whirring lawn mowers on still afternoons and ice cream cones and watermelon.  Summer is long nights and the stars low in the sky."

Through happy times and (hopefully) good sunshine, campers will harness their enthusiasm and enjoy that summer feeling with a week of fun, engaging summer-themed activities that foster teamwork, spark inspiration, cultivate a sense of adventure, make memories, and celebrate the best that summer (at AIS) has to offer.  Weekly offerings include Pizza Making Session, field trip to SkyZone, and an All Camp Field Day and party featuring Kona Ice King of Prussia, DJ Howard, and Grandpop Bubbles!  

Whether through active sports, board games, wellness, yoga, or puzzle rooms, it is Game On with activities that teach teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and sportsmanship.

Get ready for a fun-filled and exciting exploration of the world of STEM! Campers will participate in activities and experiments while learning about the wonders of the world around them. 

Camp is an opportunity to try new things and explore budding interests.  This session would vary from week to week to accommodate subjects, themes, and activities that allow camper to be creative, explore pop culture/areas of interest, learn life-skills and so much.

Campers discover a variety of area that allow them to invent, create, make and explore.  Activities may include writing, building, design and so much more.

Exploring the wonders of the world through music, design and much more! Our campers will have the opportunity to find the extraordinary in the ordinary through fun and innovative activities that encourage self-expression and inspire a sense of wonder.
